PS: For those enrolled in the Angela Yu's Udemy course, you can copy the configuration course and paste it in the preferences file of Hyper. You do not need to download the setup again, just run it. Then type %localappdata% and delete the hyper folder. Do the combination Ctrl R, type in %appdata% and delete Hyper folder.Go to Control Panel and uninstall Hyper.(Note that the double backslash may still be needed to escape backslash character) I changed the path to point to the right folder which see to have fixed the issue. This was not the location where I had installed my git-bash. "shell: 'C:\Program Files\Git\git-cmd.exe'," The configuration that the instructor gave us had this on line 69 I had the same issue (I think I am on the same Udemy course as well!). Is there an alternative that works similar to Hyper that I can use? Otherwise, I'm just stuck on Udemy rofl appreciate your help I'm on Udemy(enrolled in webdev bootcamp) now and our instructor had asked us to install Hyper and edit its preferences with the Hyper configĪfter editing the preferences, I close Hyper to reload the update but it doesn't open again.
